Boring stuff:

I was born February 13th 1986 in a small town Požega, Croatia. I grew up in that city finished both elementary school (1992-2000) and high school there (2000-2004). Currently I am studying physics on University of Zagreb (2004-present).

Less boring stuff:

During my high school education I was involved in extracurricular activity in my school, like working on web portal http://www.dolina.hr. Experience in that project was later used for creating new school website http://gim.gimpoz.hr

During my first year in college I joined the Student Section of Croatian Physical Society (http://www.fizika.org). At that time I got involved in various projects which eventually led to being elected president of Student Section of Croatian Physical Society in 2006. I held that position until 2008 when my term ended. Since Student Section is a member of International Association of Physics Students (http://www.iaps.info) I am also involved in their activities. I was a member of Central Office of IAPS in 2006/2007, and I am currently member of its Executive Committee (2008 - present).
One of interesting IAPS activities are International Conferences of Physics Students (ICPS). Each year other country gets opportunity to organize one. In 2009 ICPS was held in Split, Croatia, and I was a proud member of the Organising Committee (http://icps2009.hfd.hr).
Currently I am working on a project called Fizika Ekspres (http://fizika-ekspres.hfd.hr) which aims to popularize physics in elementary and high schools in Croatia.

I have also worked on Biomag2010 (http://www.biomag2010.org), an International Conference on Biomagnetism in Dubrovnik, as webmaster.

Also during my first year in college I was elected student representative in Council of Department of Physics (http://www.phy.hr), position I held until 2008, when was elected in Student Council of Faculty of Science(April 2008 - present) (http://www.pmf.hr, http://studenti.pmf.hr). Fellow members in that council chose me for the president of the Assembly (April 2008 - December 2009), and chose me as their representative in Student Council of University of Zagreb (April 2008 - present) (http://www.unizg.hr, http://www.szzg.hr). Where, due to internal structure of University of Zagreb, I am a member of the executive committee or presidency of the Student Assembly of University of Zagreb (January 2009 - present). Since the Student Assembly is a body that appoints students representatives to the Senate of University of Zagreb, and also due to internal structure of university I am also a member of the Senate(September 2008 - present). As such I am involved in number of committees, working for the benefit of students.

In October 2009 I started working on a project Connect::portal (http://portal.connect.znanost.org). I am working as a web designer and my job is to enhance the experience of the project.

I am also involved in Microsoft Student Partner program, promoting Microsoft services on Faculty of Science (2008 - present).

Fun stuff:
I enjoy good old rock music (like Pink Floyd), and some of the newer.
I also enjoy good movies, especially if I am watching them with friends.
I love dancing, and I go to dance school. Almost every Sunday you can find me on the dance floor.

Also people find me to be mean. To them I say: "I am not fat (mean), I am just big boned (honest)"
